Focused on
Your Needs

Your first visit to NOVA IV Therapy is designed to be structured, informative, and focused on understanding your individual needs.

We take a provider-directed approach to care, which means every new patient begins with a clinical consultation before receiving any therapy. This allows us to ensure that any recommendations are appropriate, safe, and aligned with your goals.

Step 1: Schedule Your Appointment

You can request an appointment by:

A security deposit is required to reserve your initial appointment. This deposit is applied toward your first visit.

Our office can schedule your first IV Procedure appointment for you on the same day, but this is subject to the Provider confirming your eligibility and writing the order. This is a separate charge.

Step 2: Prepare for Your Visit

Prior to your appointment, you will receive a welcome email with

  • HIPAA forms
  • A medical history questionnaire
  • Initial consent forms

Please complete all forms in advance whenever possible.

Please plan to:

  • Arrive 30 minutes early if forms are incomplete
  • Bring your medication list, allergies, and any recent lab results

For IV therapy visits, we also recommend:

  • Eating a meal within one to two hours prior
  • Avoiding alcohol for 24 hours before and after your visit

Step 3: Arrival & Check-In

Upon arrival, you will check in at the front desk, where your paperwork will be reviewed.

  • If everything is complete, you will be seated and called shortly
  • If anything is missing, you may complete it on an in-office iPad

We aim to keep wait times under 15 minutes for scheduled appointments whenever possible.

Step 4: Provider Consultation

All new patients begin with a consultation with a licensed provider (approximately 20 minutes).

During this visit, we review:

  • Your health history
  • Current symptoms or concerns
  • Medications and allergies
  • Overall goals for care

This evaluation helps determine whether IV or ozone-based therapies may be appropriate for you.

Step 5: Same-Day Procedure (When Appropriate)

In many cases, patients may be eligible to receive IV therapy on the same day as their consultation.

However:

  • Eligibility is determined by the provider
  • Standard lab work may be required prior to certain therapies

If a same-day procedure is not appropriate, we will guide you on the next steps.

Step 6: Your IV Therapy Experience

IV therapy sessions typically last 1–2 hours, depending on the procedure.

During your session:

  • You will be seated in a comfortable recliner
  • Blankets and heating pads are available
  • Wi-Fi is provided for personal use

Patients often use this time to relax, listen to music, or use their phone.

A trained IV nurse is present to monitor your procedure and ensure your comfort throughout the session.

Step 7: After Your Visit

Following your visit, we may provide general guidance such as:

  • staying well hydrated
  • avoiding alcohol for 24 hours
  • following any provider-specific recommendations

If applicable, your next visit may be scheduled before you leave, or you may contact us at your convenience.

Payment & Insurance

  • Payment is collected at the time of service
  • We accept credit cards, cash, and HSA/FSA cards
  • IV and ozone therapies are self-pay services

A superbill will be provided for your records.

Appointment Policies

To help us maintain a smooth schedule for all patients:

  • A 24-hour notice is requested for cancellations
  • Intake deposits may be applied as a no-show fee if the first appointment is missed without notice
  • Late arrivals may be subject to rescheduling based on provider or room availability

We understand that trying a new type of care can come with questions. Our goal is to make your first visit as clear, comfortable, and straightforward as possible.

If you have any questions prior to your appointment, our team is happy to assist.
