Meet Our Founder
Areti Gourzis graduated from Duke University in 1999. She holds a Master’s in Business Administration from the University of Maryland, which she earned in 2008. Areti’s career began in information technology and evolved over time into product management and business strategy, with emphasis on physical and cyber security. Her background in the commercial corporate sector has given her the experience and knowledge to start her own small business, leading to the establishment of NOVA IV Therapy in 2025.
While Areti is not a medical practitioner of any kind, she strongly believes in integrative and functional medicine as the first line of defense for both acute and chronic illness. She values the life-saving nature of conventional standards of medical care, but also knows firsthand the detriments of poor root-cause diagnosis of one’s health. She is pleased to be partnered with Sterling Wellness to ensure comprehensive functional medicine care is available to NOVA IV Therapy patients.
