Payment Options
At NOVA IV Therapy, we offer a hybrid care model that includes both conventional medical services and advanced, integrative therapies.
Our goal is to provide clear, transparent information about how services are billed so patients can make informed decisions before receiving care. If you have any questions about billing, insurance, or financing, please contact our office prior to your appointment.
How Payment Works
Payment is collected at the time of service for all self-pay services
We accept:
- cash
- major credit and debit cards
- HSA/FSA cards (subject to your plan’s terms)
For convenience, a card may be securely maintained on file.
Self-Pay Services
The following services are provided on a self-pay basis:
- Nutrient IV Therapy
- Ozone-based therapies
- MAH
- 10-Pass
- EBOO
- Hemealumen
- Insufflation
- Limb Bagging
- Injections (including NAD+ and prolozone)
- Comprehensive or extended integrative consultations
- Care plans or bundled therapy programs
These services are considered elective and are not typically covered by insurance.
Insurance-Based Medical Services (As Available)
As the practice continues to grow, we are in the process of credentialing with commercial insurance providers.
Once in-network, insurance may be used for conventional medical services such as:
- routine wellness exams
- sick visits
- prescription management
- minor in-office procedures
- women’s health visits
Coverage will depend on your individual insurance plan. Additional details will be provided as these services become available.
Medicare Policy
NOVA IV Therapy does not participate in Medicare and operates under a private-pay model for Medicare beneficiaries.
If you are a Medicare patient, you are still welcome to receive care at our practice. However:
- All services are provided on a self-pay basis
- Medicare is not billed for any services
- You may not seek reimbursement from Medicare or secondary insurance for services received at our practice
Prior to receiving care, Medicare patients will be asked to sign a private contract acknowledging these terms, as required by federal regulations.
This applies to all services, including:
- primary care visits
- IV nutrient therapy
- ozone-based therapies
- integrative or extended consultations
If you have questions about how this applies to your situation, we encourage you to contact our office prior to scheduling.
Superbills & Out-of-Network Reimbursement
A superbill is a detailed receipt that may be submitted to your insurance provider for possible reimbursement.
We may provide a superbill:
- For self-pay visits when we are not in-network
- During the insurance credentialing period
- For certain integrative or extended services
Important notes:
- Reimbursement is not guaranteed
- Coverage is determined by your insurance provider
- Not all services are eligible for reimbursement
For Medicare patients, reimbursement is not available for services provided under a private-pay arrangement.
Financing Options
We understand that some services may represent a financial investment. To help support accessibility, we offer financing options, including:
- Cherry
- CareCredit (Coming Soon)
- Advance Care Card (Coming Soon)
These programs allow patients to break payments into manageable installments, subject to approval and individual terms.
Patient Responsibility
Patients are responsible for:
- understanding their insurance benefits
- confirming coverage eligibility
- paying for services not covered by insurance
Our team is happy to answer questions and help you understand your options prior to your visit.
